New Horizons for New Hampshire Inc., at 199 Manchester St in the Queen city, recently unveiled its new solar/natural gas heating and air conditioning system - a $249,000 makeover that replaces an antiquated oil-burning system with one that is estimated to be 40 percent more efficient.

The old system at the Manchester Street facility used an antiquated, oil-fired steam boiler connected to steam heating units. New Horizons expects to save 40 percent in operation costs.
